Have you ever wondered what the perfect hoax could be? In fact, there are many and it is difficult to find one that can win in this competition of people who have put their genius at the service of evil. Tonight's Piranhas will bring the case of Klea Rama, the fictional person who was removed as the granddaughter of the Prime Minister and who managed to put our education system in play.

This scam began two years ago, when the Ministry of Education received an email requesting cooperation for a project. This niece, until then completely unknown to the Prime Minister, claimed to live in the US and to be leading the project in question, in which she wanted to include Albanian schools with the aim of offering students the opportunity to study in America in the future. It would be really nice if it weren't all a fabrication by a person who was still unknown at the time, because in fact nothing was real, not the project, not even Mr. Rama's niece.

But despite this, all doors were opened for Klea Rama. It took only three days after the email, in the complete absence of verification links, for the project to be approved and delegated for implementation to the General Directorate of Education.

The person directly responsible for the uncontrolled passage of the project was the deputy minister of education, Nina Guga. Immediately after this, the project was distributed to the ZVA, including a large number of high schools, from the north to the south of Albania, with the sole purpose of cooperating with America. And what did you see after that!
Students who studied hard for the project, dreaming of studying overseas, teachers who worked overtime for coordination, directors and deputy ministers who came out in public greeting Klea Rama, whose voice and face they did not recognize.

All it took was a few emails and WhatsApp messages with the prime minister's niece, which was only discovered a year later... of course after she had been greeted and thanked by the students. But who was actually hiding behind this perfect fraud, which under the name Klea Rama managed to open every door in the state offices? It is about a 20-year-old from the village of Çipan in Devollit, named Ermes Hoxhalli, a student at the Academy of Arts, who is currently behind bars for the criminal offense of computer fraud and document forgery, from which he did not benefit a single penny.

A genius of deception? We're leaving this to everyone's imagination. What we know for sure is that we're not dealing with an ordinary person here, so we decided to start the story of Hermes from the genesis, there in Cipan of Devoll, where we met his relatives, who described to us a completely different Hermes from the one who created this scheme.

"He was a very wise boy, he worked with his parents with cattle, he didn't go out to have fun like all his friends, but stayed alone with his books."

His mother says the same thing, trying to explain through tears that Ermes is not the one who appeared in the media.
"I had a role model for my son, he helped us, we raised him with difficulty, now he is serving the sentence for what he did."

The Piranhas also met his 9-year-old teacher, who revealed that Ermes excelled in literature and that he wanted to become a journalist.

"He liked essays, he was good at social studies, he liked journalism"

But after graduating from 9-year school, Ermes traveled every day to Devoll, to Fuat Babani High School, where he first began to be active with theater troupes.

"He had dreams of becoming a famous actor, he was very cheerful, smart, he fought hard to defend his idea, he was very involved in school. Even if Ermesi did it, we think he didn't understand the consequences. He was a bit naive by nature, he believed a lot," his classmates said.

But no more naive than the head of the education system, the Ministry of Education, which took all this action only because the prime minister's niece was asking for it./ Piranjat
