Lezhë/The dynamics of the violent robbery in the apartment of an elderly man, in the village of Gajush, committed on 28.04.2025, are revealed.

The police operation codenamed "Telephone Call" is finalized.

The 3 suspects of the theft of several sums of money and 1 hunting gun, in the apartment of a 66-year-old man, were arrested.
One of the accomplices was caught trying to flee Albania, through the Muriqan checkpoint.

The father of one of the arrested is being prosecuted for supporting the perpetrators.

5 cell phones were seized, as well as 2 vehicles used during the theft.

As a result of in-depth investigations conducted immediately after the call for a violent robbery, in the apartment of a 66-year-old man, in the village of Gajush, the services of the Lezha Police Commissariat and those of the Lezha Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Lezha Prosecutor's Office, clarified the dynamics of the case and arrested the suspected perpetrators.

Specifically, within the framework of the "Telefonata" operation, citizens KN, 22 years old, resident of Mirditë (with a criminal record), AS, 21 years old, resident of Korça and L. Ll., 22 years old, resident of Tirana (arrested by the Muriqan BCP services, on the way out) were identified, arrested and handcuffed.

Investigations suspect that the 3 citizens were implicated in the violent theft of 1,500 dollars, 880 euros, 50,000 lek and 1 hunting gun, in the apartment of a 66-year-old man, in the village of Gajush, committed in the early morning hours of 28.04.2025.

Following the operation, proceedings were initiated in a free state for the father of citizen KN, citizen Gj. N., 50 years old, for the criminal offense of "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime".

The procedural materials were referred to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office for further action.
