France, "survival manual"! The government prepares the people for major crises, even in case of war

The French government has a manual ready to be distributed to the country's citizens to prepare them for "major crises" that may occur.
Called a "survival manual," it aims to provide information and practices necessary to survive during extreme situations, including climate disasters, industrial accidents, epidemics, radioactive leaks, cyberattacks, and even armed conflicts.
The General Secretariat for National Defense and Security, which is responsible for developing this guide, explains that while the manual includes the possibility of war, it is not the main focus of this guide. Instead, it aims to strengthen the population's capabilities to respond to various crises, to ensure that citizens are prepared for any type of unexpected situation.
This manual is part of a broader strategy, called the "national resilience strategy", which began to be developed after the Covid-19 pandemic and aims to help France and its citizens be more resilient to possible future shocks.
This plan aims to improve the preparedness of the state and citizens to cope with crises, as well as to develop tools and resources for their efficient management.
