Kiev raises alarm: Russia plans to launch a ballistic missile today

Ukraine's military intelligence service said today that Russia is planning to launch an intercontinental ballistic missile, with the aim of intimidating Ukraine and Western countries.
According to a statement posted on the Telegram app, the launch of the missile was ordered to be carried out overnight from Russia's Sverdlovsk region. GUR notes that the missile has a range exceeding 10,000 kilometers.
“In order to exert psychological pressure and openly intimidate both Ukraine and the EU and NATO member states, the Russian aggressor has planned a launch of an RS-24 intercontinental ballistic missile, presenting it as a ‘training and combat’ action,” the GUR statement said. So far, Russian authorities have not given any official reaction to this claim by Ukrainian intelligence.
