Marco Rubio: US will end Moscow-Kiev mediation if there are no concrete proposals

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov described Vladimir Putin's proposal for a three-day ceasefire as "the start of direct negotiations with Kiev without preconditions," while calling Ukraine's proposal for a ceasefire of at least 30 days "a precondition."
However, Trump's special representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, had a different opinion, calling a three-day ceasefire "absurd."
Kellogg also said he supported a complete ceasefire “at sea, in the air, on land, in infrastructure” for at least 30 days. Meanwhile, Zelensky is demanding that no territory be “given” to Putin.
But Secretary of State Marco Rubio reiterated that the US will end mediation in the conflict if there are no "concrete proposals" from Russia and Ukraine, State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said.
