USA, private plane crashes during takeoff at Bangor airport, 7 dead and one

Seven people were killed and one was injured in a private plane crash at an airport in the US state of Maine on Sunday, CNN reported, citing information from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The twin-engine Bombardier Challenger 650 crashed during takeoff at Bangor International Airport. The private jet then burst into flames.

Authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the causes of the plane crash, which occurred as a heavy snowstorm hit the northeastern US states.
