The company behind the Sazan resort was founded a year ago in the tax haven

The Albanian Investment Development Agency has reacted for the first time regarding the project for the construction of a resort on the island of Sazan. In a reaction to ATSH, AIDA informed that an expression of interest has been presented to its offices by the company "Atlantic Incubation Partners LLC" for the realization of a tourist resort on the island of Sazan. According to AIDA, the project is in the stage of assistance from the Albanian Investment Development Agency, related to meeting the criteria.

Atlantic Incubation Partners LLC is a company founded on April 5 of last year in the state of Delaware. This is the same company that has expressed interest in building the hotel in Belgrade, in the place where Milosevic's army headquarters used to be.

It is not known who the entity or ultimate shareholders of Atlantic Incubation Partners are, as the state of Delaware provides corporate secrecy. Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of former US President Donald Trump, publicly declared behind the project for the resort on the island of Sazan, which was later confirmed by the Albanian government.

Delaware is currently considered one of the largest tax havens in the world, not only for low taxes, but also for corporate secrecy. Since 1965, Delaware has created the ideal landscape for company formation and is one of the most popular jurisdictions in the world to incorporate an offshore business.

The infamous "Delaware Loophole" allows companies to avoid paying any corporate income tax in the countries where they earn income, provided they operate overseas. Delaware is one of five states with zero sales tax, attracting consumers from various states.

In addition to major tax savings, Delaware offers many other advantages, such as financial privacy, fast and affordable incorporation processes, and few reporting requirements.

The fact that Delaware is a US state further adds to its attractiveness as an offshore tax haven because it offers greater reputation with fewer risks. It's the main reason it's been able to fly under the radar for so long, and continues to receive little or no scrutiny from governments and watchdogs around the world. / Kapitali.al
