The double dance, Rama-Berisha, against SPAK and Basha's move to the USA!

In the past week, we have witnessed a spectacular "political dance", where Rama and Berisha, with their wavering stances, seemed like two indefatigable ballerinas, performing pirouette after pirouette on the Albanian political runway.
The week began with a dramatic turn by Edi Rama, who, suddenly, backed down from his attacks on SPAK and, in a trembling tone, declared: “I have respect for Dumani, the entire being of Albania attacks him, and I appreciate him very much.” This is the same Edi Rama who once did everything to prevent Dumani from being elected as head of SPAK. And now, suddenly, he “has respect” for him?! A political pirouette of the highest caliber… charlatan.
But the game doesn't stop there. Sali Berisha enters the political dance floor, continuing his tendency for self-discretion, destroying any remnants of political dignity by labeling Altin Dumani as a "socialist leader" - even after the arrest of Erion Veliaj.
"In September, at the Socialist Party meeting in Dajt, Altin Dumani also went, where he met with Rama," the 81-year-old confessed, in a claim so ridiculous that his own discrediting reached new levels of humiliation.
But this nonsense doesn't stop there. The political tussle between Rama and Berisha continued throughout the week:
Rama, who not so long ago called SPAK an institution with typical behavior of Russian and Chinese prosecutors, this week declares that he does not regret voting for its creation, even though he knew that this institution would hit members of his socialist government. Another logical pirouette, another attempt to maintain balance in this absurd dance.
But as the rhythm of this grotesque dance demands, Berisha immediately returned to the dance floor, responding with an even more unbelievable statement:
"Even though Dumani is a socialist scapegoat, this week we rejected an invitation from Edi Rama to unite the PS-PD votes for the merger of SPAK."
This claim was so absurd that even Flamur Noka himself, taken by surprise, asked out loud:
"How is it possible that the Doctor refused this invitation?"
So, according to this logic, Rama, who declares that he "has respect" for Dumani, asked Berisha - who curses Dumani with the harshest language - to join forces to dissolve SPAK and dismiss Dumani?! And Berisha refused?!
Has Berisha, at this point, begun to have "respect" for Dumani? Or has he simply lost all respect for himself?
The madness of this tango continued in the international arena, with both sides trying to demonstrate who is less of an enemy of the United States.
On the one hand, Rama admits that it has been a while since he received an invitation from the US, but guarantees that he is not "non-grata" like Berisha and promises a "surprise" before May 11.
Por siç ndodh gjithmonë në këtë balet absurd, Berisha nuk mund të rrinte pa u përgjigjur me një lëvizje edhe më qesharake:
“Unë nuk kam ndërmend të udhëtoj në SHBA para 11 majit (jo se nuk shkoj dot, por sepse nuk kam plan), por ju garantoj se pas 11 majit, qeveria ime do të ekstradojë Edi Ramën në SHBA për çështjen McGonigal.”
A thua se detyra e një politikani shqiptar është dërgimi i kundërshtarit të tij para drejtësisë amerikane! Në vend që të japë llogari para demokratëve përse u premtoi se me ardhjen e Trump-it, me ndikimin e La Civita-s, me emërimin e Rubio-s si Sekretar Shteti, madje edhe me Elon Musk-un në krye të DOGE, do t’i hiqej “non-grata” nga Uashingtoni, Berisha zgjedh të shesë një tjetër gënjeshtër sharlataneske.
Me gjithë akrobacitë e tij karakteriale për raportin e tij me SHBA-të, Berisha ua faktoi demokratëve diçka të qartë:
Sali Berisha do të mbetet “non-grata” në SHBA.
Qoftë me Trump-in apo Biden-in, qoftë me Rubio-n apo Blinken-in, narrativa e SHBA-ve për të mbetet e pandryshuar: “I shpallur non-grata për korrupsion masiv dhe minimin e demokracisë.”
Në këtë pikë, ndoshta shpresa e vetme për të mbetur në lojë është Elon Musk… ose Altin Goxhaj me sharrën e tij!
Por, çuditërisht, në skenën politike shqiptare, ekziston dikush që shfaqet si antihelmi i kësaj marrëzie, si e kundërta ekzakte e këtyre politikanëve që kryejnë pirueta të tërbuara karakteriale.
Në një javë ku diskursi i Ramës dhe Berishës u përmblodh në absurditetin “e respektojmë aq sa duam ta shkatërrojmë SPAK-un”, një tjetër politikan ndërmori një hap të kundërt: ai depozitoi në Uashington, në Departamentin e Shtetit, një kontratë lobimi me një kompani amerikane, objektivi i së cilës është “një fushatë ndërgjegjësimi për rëndësinë e SPAK-ut dhe luftën kundër pandëshkueshmërisë 34-vjeçare në Shqipëri.”
Ndërkohë që Sali Berisha harxhon miliona dollarë për të (mos) hequr “non-grata”-n e tij me një lobim të dështuar përmes La Civitas, ky politikan tjetër lobon për forcimin e SPAK-ut dhe vazhdimin e mbështetjes së reformës në drejtësi nga Administrata Amerikane.
Teksa Rama dhe Berisha kanë nisur luftën e të marrëve për të përcaktuar “kush është më pak armik i SHBA-ve”, ai ndodhet në Shtetet e Bashkuara duke zhvilluar takime zyrtare në nivelet më të larta të Departamentit Amerikan të Shtetit.
Por, siç ndodh shpesh, “i mençuri i duket i çmendur, të marrëve”. Ashtu edhe Lulzim Basha u duket një i çmendur Ramës, Berishës dhe gjithë qënërisë së koneve të tyre politike.
Dhe ndërsa ky realitet zhvillohet para syve të publikut, paradoksi bëhet edhe më i dukshëm.
Nga njëra anë, Rama dhe Berisha, në valle në një përqafim politik të pështirë, bëjnë gjithçka për të mbrojtur veten dhe për të siguruar mbijetesën e tyre në një sistem që u ka shërbyer për dekada. Ata në armiqësi totale me SPAK-un, pastaj pirueta sikur e mbështesin, pastaj përpiqen ta kontrollojnë, e më pas përpiqen ta shkatërrojnë – të gjithë këtë brenda një jave, pa asnjë grimë turpi për kontradiktat e tyre.
On the other hand, Lulzim Basha – accused of being indecisive, weak, and even a hidden collaborator of Berisha – is playing a different game. Instead of sinking into the mire of muddied justice and flirting with the anti-values of Albanian politics, he chooses to position himself on the side of the law and Western institutions. Instead of making shady deals to save his seat, he lobbies for SPAK, for justice reform, and for an Albania freed from the clutches of impunity.
And this is why Basha is unacceptable to Rama and Berisha. They need each other to survive. They need the scandals, the fake clashes, the permanent alibis of “the war between them.” While Basha represents a real threat to this old game.
That's why they attack him. That's why they ignore him. That's why they mock him.
Because in an Albania where politics has become a dance of fools, someone who refuses to dance to their rhythm seems strange.
But, as history has often shown us, it is precisely those who refuse to dance to the crowd's music who ultimately change it.
