Russophile "sovereignists"

Over time, I have noticed that many Albanians are happy that Russia began the invasion of Ukraine. At first, their stances were timid, then every day they began to feel more and more ashamed. Now they mock anyone who does not think like them. In recent days, they do not hide their excitement about how President Donald Trump is trying to turn the wheel of a superpower like the USA against Ukraine and Europe. But that is another topic.
The interesting thing is that they all come off as right-wing. Of course they can be, I do not doubt it, but the surprise is that they are not at all impressed that so far Putin's allies in this dirty war are North Korea and Iran - both fanatical, religious and communist countries. Both of these countries are participating in the war with weapons and soldiers.
The other surprise is that they are all sovereignists, but again they are not at all embarrassed by the fact that Russia attacked an independent and sovereign state.
They are completely insensitive to the suffering, killings and destruction of a people and a country that is fighting to defend its country. But believe it or not, that people have been facing one of the strongest armies on the planet for three years, and they are still standing. Three years of war and Russia has only managed to take 20-25% of the territory.
Now let's go back a little to the last fact, which does not impress our sovereignists at all. Imagine for a moment if Serbia - Russia's sister - does the same thing in Kosovo. And it will most likely do it at the first opportunity it has. The probability that Serbia will attack Kosovo - this year and especially in the last few weeks - has increased to the maximum, especially if Donald Trump withdraws support for Europe and Ukraine. Russia's victory in Ukraine is not good news for us Albanians. For Serbia and the historical enemies of Albanians, it is great news.
In summary - Russia is a country with clear intentions to make Europe like an onion garden. Russia is a country that has oppressed the peoples of the Russian Empire for more than a century, and it was and remains the evil empire. Russia was a communist and dictatorial country. Russia's current allies are China, Iran and North Korea.
Our fate is tied to Europe. Only if Europe exists will the Albanian nation exist. We can live under Serbian or Russian rule - after all, they are people too - but our national aspirations would be extinguished forever under Russia.
Now, as you wish, shall we also add a sneer to the Ukrainian people who are fighting for their freedom and we are fine?
