Woman lied to by boyfriend who told her she was 'infertile' joins

A British businesswoman who was busy with her two children complains that she 'believed' the lies of a man who got her pregnant again, telling her she was 'infertile' despite having four other children. Tina Maia already says that she feels trapped by the seductive "liar" and is now seeking compensation along with other women who "suffered" like her.

The 48-year-old from Buckinghamshire in central Britain says she met 51-year-old Neil Lawman in New York, a seemingly straightforward IT consultant from Southend-on-Sea, at a work conference in 2016.

They started communicating and Tina quickly felt a connection with Lawmen and started dating for a few months, taking comfort in the fact that they were both divorced.

Lawman seemed honest and open as Tina described him as a fresh "change", but later when she became pregnant he showed his neglectful side when, according to the woman, he told her he didn't want to know about the baby.

"He was attractive, he looked like a chapkin boy, we were both living in the US at the time and we connected quickly. But in conversations, Lawman had told her that he did not want children because he was infertile, and that this had brought about the breakdown of his marriage."

When the pair decided to have sex, Tina says she asked Lawman if he had a condom and he replied that he was "allergic to plastic".

A few weeks later Tina realized she couldn't feel her periods and was surprised when the pregnancy test came back positive, after Lawman had told her she couldn't have children.

When Tina confronted Lawman he threatened to go to the police and report her for defamation.

Lawman also refused a DNA test, and when the girl was born she says he didn't come to see her.

Tina had believed that Lawman was a successful businessman after checking the Internet and seeing his name linked to many technology companies, but she also discovered that his ex-wife and two daughters lived in Britain and not in New York.

Continuing her research, she came into contact with other women deceived by the 'don-juan'.

In an interview with the media, Lawman has denied the accusations: "This is not true, the Southend police are acting on this and I cannot comment."

Tina communicated and became friends with Lawman's ex-wife, supporting each other over the alleged abuse against them.

Jason Lawrence has reportedly pleaded guilty to lying about having a vasectomy in 2019 - but a verdict in the case has yet to be handed down.
