Time change/ When will we move the hands 60 minutes forward?

At dawn on the last Sunday of March, we will have the time change, as every year. On March 26, the hands of the clocks will go forward one hour. Specifically, when our clock shows 03:00, we will move it forward one hour to 04:00.
European countries adopted daylight saving time in the last century to save energy, especially during times of war or during the oil crisis of the 1970s. But in 2018, the purpose of the change has become much less convenient, as studies show that energy savings are already marginal and citizens complain more and more about the negative health effects.
Based on the request of the European Parliament and as part of the evaluation of the current regime, the Commission held a public consultation in the summer of 2018 and received 4.6 million responses, where 84% of the responses were in favor of abolishing seasonal clock changes.
Based on this evidence, the European Commission concluded that there is no reason for Brussels to continue regulating seasonal time changes and that member states should be free to decide whether they want to live on summer or winter time.
