Admiral Dragone in Kosovo: KFOR will maintain peace and stability

KFOR ensures a secure environment by promoting a multiethnic and democratic Kosovo, said Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, who stayed in Pristina yesterday together with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, who is the chairman of the NATO Military Committee, praised "the unwavering dedication of all KFOR personnel, who continue to maintain peace and stability in Kosovo since 1999," KosovaPress reports.
“Special appreciation to the NATO Liaison and Advisory Team, now led by General Christian Nawrat, for their key role in advising and supporting the Kosovo Security Force, enhancing regional stability,” wrote Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone in the X.
During his visit to Pristina on March 11, Mark Rutte said NATO supports peace and stability in the Western Balkans.
"The presence here today is a clear demonstration of commitment to long-term security in Kosovo. NATO has supported peace and stability in the Western Balkans. KFOR liaison teams continue to support other security institutions. A safer region means more security for the NATO area. NATO will continue to play its role, we do this in coordination with the Police and EULEX," he said.
