Hamza: PDK does not support Osman for president

The leader of the PDK, Bedri Hamza, has said that this party does not support Vjosa Osmani for president, even for one term.
According to Hamza, Osmani did not have a fair position with all parties.
"We appreciate every good job he has done, but he has consistently not had a fair position in relation to all political entities in Kosovo... We have made it clear that PDK does not support Ms. Osmani for president," Hamza declared on T7.
Hamza has said that he cannot offer names for presidential candidates without agreement.
However, he added that the same person could also be outside the structures of this party.
"If I agree to elect the candidate proposed by the PDK, it could be inside or outside the PDK structures. I don't want to believe that I'm going to propose a name that doesn't have all the attributes that a candidate for President should have," he said.
Hamza has stated that if a candidate from the Jashari family were proposed, all 22 votes of the PDK would be for that candidate.
He revealed that this issue was also discussed in the meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti. Hamza said that he speaks with respect to the point of humility for this family and that he respects their decision not to get involved in this matter.
"They are a special case, they are something else, they are a different value compared to everything else. If a candidate from the Jashari family had come, the 22 votes of the PDK would have been for that candidate. I am sure of this. However, we have heard the statements, the decisions of the respected members of this family. For me, every decision that this family makes is respected", declared Hamza.
Otherwise, Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated today that PDK's stance on the party proposal complicates things.
He said that there is currently no news from the negotiations, and that there is still no unifying candidate.
