Serbian List complains to EU envoy/ "We are under Kurti's

The EU envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Peter Sorensen, met a delegation of the Serbian List, led by the party's leader, Zlatan Elek, this Wednesday in Pristina.

In a press release, the Serbian List stated that during the meeting they emphasized to the EU envoy for dialogue "the extremely difficult situation in which the Serbian people in Kosovo find themselves."

This "situation of Serbs", according to the Belgrade-backed party, is "a consequence of the anti-Serb policy of the government in Pristina".

The Serbian List even alleged physical attacks on Serbian citizens, including children, by Kosovo police authorities at this meeting, but without specifying the cases.

This party also complained to the European emissary that Prime Minister Albin Kurti gave a mandate to Minister Nenad Rashic with "Albanian votes."

This party said it has asked the new envoy "to be neutral and do everything possible to ensure that the signed agreements are implemented, especially regarding the formation of the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities."

The European Union's envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Peter Sorensen, emphasized on his last day of his visit to Pristina the importance of clarifying the fate of persons missing during the war in Kosovo, describing this as a humanitarian necessity, after a visit he made to the Institute of Forensic Medicine.

On the first day, Sorensen met with heads of state and leaders of opposition parties, while on the second day he visited one of the border crossings between Serbia and Kosovo.
