Thousands demonstrate pro-Palestine in British cities, London sends warships in support of Israel

As the serious Israel-Palestine conflict continues, protesters from the Palestine Solidarity group in several British cities today chanted "Free Palestine" in demonstrations against airstrikes in Gaza.
TheMirror daily writes that protesters also chanted "Rishi Sunak, shame on you" and "Palestinians of all generations are being killed" as they showed their support for the territories surrounded by the army.
The development comes as the London government has announced the deployment of warships to the Mediterranean in support of the Israeli government.
Fireworks were set off at some of the protests as minor scuffles broke out at the rally in central London, while other marches in Edinburgh, Manchester and Liverpool were largely peaceful but well attended.
In north central Manchester alone more than 2,000 people gathered to show support for Gaza.
