After the meeting with Escobar and Lajçak, Kurti gives orders to stop the attacks of criminal groups in the north

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, after last night's meeting with the European and American emissaries Miroslav Lajçak and Gabriel Escobar, said that the way forward is to immediately stop the attacks by Serbian extremists and criminal groups in order to continue the free and fair elections.
"In the meeting with Escobar and Lajcak, I expressed my unreserved commitment to de-escalation. Essential steps forward are an immediate end to attacks on security forces by violent extremists and criminal groups and a role in ensuring free and fair campaigning and elections," he wrote.
In the talks with Kurti, Escobar and Lajcak proposed three demands: new elections, calming the situation and returning to the dialogue with Serbia. "The first is the de-escalation of the situation on the ground in the three northern municipalities, then quick elections in these municipalities as well as the return to dialogue," declared Lajçak.
