The "extraterrestrial" that made the news asked for peace on Earth

One of the strangest blackouts occurred on November 26, 1977 in the United Kingdom. This event became famous after a blackout from Southern Television which caused a nationwide panic.
The outage itself was caused by a factor that is still unknown and is generally seen as a complete fabrication that required a considerable amount of technical know-how.
The interference in the television signal occurred at 5.10 pm local time when an unknown voice entered the program. The moderator introduced himself as an extraterrestrial leader of the "Intergalactic Association" whose name is still in dispute. It was either "Vrillon" or "Gillon" or as some others call it "Asteron". Whichever it was doesn't matter because the creepy voice of the invented character was able to speak for almost 7 minutes.
His order was to warn mankind of a future danger that humans might face. In his statement he asked people to stop fighting and remove all weapons from Earth. He also said that the people of Earth should change their ways and finally start living in peace.
When he sent his order, the order and himself disappeared and the television program returned to normal.
In conclusion, there was a state of panic among the residents who experienced this unintentional transmission. It then led to speculation among alien enthusiasts whether the broadcast was a prank or a real warning from extraterrestrials.
