Bylykbashi turns pink/ In Elbasan, Aulona from the SP goes to the Assembly and Aureli from the DP leaves!

For the first time, Elbasan sends 10 deputies to parliament for the SP and 4 for the DP, a result that has never been recorded before in a district where mandates are generally divided 8 to 6.

On the other hand, in Elbasan, the most voted candidate in all of Albania emerged. Sara Mila, who emerged from the platform "Deputy We Want", received 18,626 votes.

But was this the socialists' expectation, or did this result come as a surprise even for them?

From the open list of the SP in Elbasan, Sara Mila, Sajmir Hasalla, Olsi Komici, Aulona Bylykbashi and Agron Gaxho are going to Parliament. While the DP lost its 5th candidate in the safe list, Aurel Bylykbashi.

While the diaspora votes are still being counted, it seems that the mandates are very unlikely to move. To regain its 5th mandate in Elbasan, the DP needs a minimum of 1815 votes and this seems very difficult given the diaspora trend of 59.46% for the SP and 21.55% for the DP.

Even in this district, the Albania Initiative is established as the third political force, receiving a total of 10.40% of the votes.
