What a disaster to read from foreign officials that after 32 years since the fall of the communist system, Albania is again an unsafe place to live. This bitter news comes from Great Britain, where it is reported that the agreement signed with the Albanian government in August of last year for the penetration of Albanian citizens who apply for asylum in Britain has been cancelled.

"The agreement stipulated that asylum requests made by Albanians are false. In fact, the latest figures show that 53% of Albanian asylum requests are accepted by the Home Office, showing that for many Albanians their country is not a safe place to live", said Clare Moseley, founder of Care4Calais.

Finally, one of the prestigious British media, "The Telegraph", said a few days ago in an article that "it is estimated that by the end of this month, about 9 thousand Albanians may have reached Great Britain. In general, almost 4,700 migrants have already crossed the Channel this month, bringing the total so far this year to 29,716, compared to 28,526 for the whole of 2021 and 8,400 in 2020. And at a time when this phenomenon is not stopping, it would be no surprise so that by the end of the year we have a doubling of escapes compared to the previous year.
