
739 more boxes from the end/ PS exceeds 600 thousand votes, the difference with the DP deepens, here's how the mandates are divided


With 4,486 polling stations counted nationwide, out of a total of 5,225, it appears that the Socialist Party has crossed the 600,000 vote threshold. As of 2:00 AM, the Socialist Party has received 619,424 votes, or 214,823 more than their opposition rivals, the DP-ASHM coalition.
The coalition led by Sali Berisha managed to receive 404,601 votes.
Currently, there are 739 ballot boxes left to be counted before the final results are published, not including the approximately 200,000 diaspora votes.
Meanwhile, the last 310 boxes are being counted in the Tirana District. So far, 972 boxes out of 1,282 in total have been counted.
The Socialist Party in the country's largest district has so far received 154,540 votes or 48.02%, which translated into 19 mandates, one more than in the 2021 elections.
Meanwhile, the opposition coalition, PD-ASHM, counts 112,460 votes or 34.95%, which translated into mandates is 14.
In the Tirana District, the third political force is "Mundësia" with 16,090 votes or 5%, securing one mandate. Tom Doshi's Social Democratic Party has also secured a mandate with 11,120 votes or 3.46% of them.
The Nisma-Albania Behet initiative also secured the mandate in Tirana with 9,776 votes or 3.1%.
