The CEC leaves Sali Berisha out of the coalition: He cannot represent the symbols of the DP

The Central Election Commission has decided this Saturday to register the request for inclusion in the coalition elections of Ilir Meta, Vangjel Dules and Nard Ndoka. Sali Berisha was left out, as he cannot represent the DP symbols.
"It is the same case as on March 6, 2022. The representative of DP Mr. Indrit Sefa confirmed here that the Democratic Party is not part of this agreement and has not made any coalition", said Celibashi as he announced the decision to register the coalition without Berisha.
Even the lawyer and representative of the official DP led by Enkelejd Alibeaj said that they have not made any request for a coalition and asked Celibashi to take measures for the senders.
"I confirm that the Democratic Party has not made any coalition. The logo, name and characteristics of the Democratic Party were used by unauthorized and illegitimate persons. The commissioner must find that this agreement was made in fraud of the law and fraud of voters.
The Democratic Party of Albania has not submitted any request for a coalition. It is not who this person is who made this request. The commissioner should take measures and take all legal steps to bring justice to the country. This request must be dismissed", said Indrit Sefa, a lawyer from the Alibeaj group.
Three days ago, the Freedom Party, PBDNJ of Vangjel Dule and PDK of Nard Ndokë formed the "Together We Win" coalition. What stood out was that the Democratic Party of Albania, with commanding chairman Enkelejd Alibeaj, was listed among the four component parties of the coalition.
