"Metamorphosis" of Edi Rama is Luftar Hysa

When MCN television published the photos of Luftar Hysa leaving Edi Rama's office, both immediately reacted publicly. Mr. Hysa went to Blendi Fevzi's Opinion show, stating that the purpose of his visit to the Prime Minister was artistic.

"I have a friend who is from Scotland and lives in London. Maksi is a photographer and writes books. And this man wanted to make a book about Albania. I have all the conversations with Max on my phone. Seeing that Rama is also an artist and likes this kind of field, I thought that the only thing I could do is to propose this project to him," said Hysa.

So, Mr. Hysa had gone to the prime minister's office to help his Scottish friend write a book to promote Albania. But for the book to be successfully realized, it had to be submitted to the suggestions and criticism of the literary commission in the prime minister's office, composed of Mr. Hysa and Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The fate of the Scottish friend's book was never known. But at the time Mr. Hysa deployed a powerful media arsenal to deny his ties to the Sinaloa cartel following accusations from the Mexican press. But the prime minister also made a strong public commitment. Asked by journalists in Albania about his meeting with Luftar Hysa, Edi Rama called the accusations slander and the media of the country scum.

"First, I don't believe that there is any difference between the media in question in Mexico and yours, that they can tell the truth and many lies. I consider it disgusting that with a piece of paper that comes out somewhere, an article that comes out somewhere, a family is taken whole and crossed without asking at all, who you are, where you are and what you do. And then the most wanted man in the world connects and connects to a hotel with less than 100 rooms in Vlora. I don't know how these are done without any research and verification. Grab names, hit the wall. May God take care of you who deal with this sport. I don't know any cartel, I'm not connected to any illegal activity. I don't live to eat more and take out more, but for several other reasons. I have left you God to those who build such fables, not only for me, but for all those who are involved in these attacks and strikes that destroy people's lives. An article came out there and the entire network of national channels here is filled with a scum that I don't know how to stop it," declared Rama.

But this version of the prime minister did not last long. The day before, when asked by Rai Tre journalists if he had met Luftar Hysa, Edi Rama had a different attitude. This time the media were no longer scum and the prime minister was no longer so convinced of the purity of Mr. Hysa.

“I don't even know who it is, okay? I don't even know who it is. I have met people, I repeat, many people, Albanians who come and go, who want to meet, see, with friends and others. They are told, "okay, come, what are you going to do, how are you going to do it", etc. However, the fact that a person even in the government or a person who comes from abroad, comes out tomorrow who is rotten does not make me responsible for meeting him or meeting someone else," said Rama.

However, this was not the only refutation of the prime minister regarding that meeting. In front of Rai journalists, Mr. Rama admitted that the reason for Luftar Hysa's visit to his office was the casino license.

"There is an investment of a Vlora family, who are very well known in Vlora. is a 5-star hotel, Marina Bay, one of the most beautiful in Albania. And one day they called me. I was told that this acquaintance of ours is a cousin who lives in Mexico and will help us operate the casino. I said very well, come on. They came to my office, I met them. I was told if there were any legal restrictions and asked for general information on the feasibility of the casino. I told them that we have a simple law. To encourage 5-star hotels, which were not in Albania, we made a tax relief package and gave them the right to have a casino. They had this 5-star structure and it was automatically given to them," the Prime Minister stated in the Report.

It is not known whether the Prime Minister has the Scotsman's book in his library. But it is known for sure that there is a casino in Marina Bay. After all, books and gambling are very similar sectors to each other. The prime minister simply has a heavy burden to wait for everyone in his office. Even writers, gamblers, and those who can run into narcotics on the way./ Kapitali.al
