Justice Minister Gogu to MP Koçeku: The threat is not political news, but justice news. Institutions should implement the law

Minister of Justice, Toni Gogu, reacted to the case of Marjana Koçek, the socialist MP who implied that she was being threatened by the Bajri tribe.

"When an MP signals a threat, it is not political news. I believe that this is news that belongs to the rule of law and I am convinced that all institutions with the power to fight organized crime, if such is the case, must urgently implement their duties ," Gogu told the media outside Parliament.

" This is a job for investigative bodies and law enforcement agencies, such as the police or SPAK. I express solidarity with my colleague and it deserves state attention ," Gogu added.
