"I met Ed for the first time in 2002", Linda Rama: Marriage to him caused me 3 resignations

Tonight in the "Opinion" studio, Linda Rama confessed a little more about her acquaintance with the country's prime minister. She said that for the first time they met in 2002, when Edi Rama was mayor of Tirana. 8 years later, they crowned their love with marriage.

"We made a long appearance on a TV show, we were explained and I actually introduced myself there as the wife of Edi Rama. We got married in 2010, I met Ed in 2002, in the context of making a report on human development, which is one of the most dignified publications and the reason was because the topic of the report was about decentralization and since Tirana is was moving rapidly towards the deepening of this process, he was invited by the group of experts, I met him there for the first time."

However, it shows that the marriage with Prime Minister Edi Rama "cost" her 3 resignations.

"In 2010 ,  that week of my marriage with Ed, it caused me 3 resignations that I gave without anyone asking me, not that there was any ethical problem, but my reasoning system and my internal ethics told me this. I resigned from the head of the office where I worked, one resignation was leaving the auditorium as a lecturer because I taught public policy at the master's level, and the third resignation was from the board of the Soros foundation. There was strong resistance from the board not to accept my resignation, because they found it impossible to accept that Ed's position at that time was an execution bullet for my career that had come as a result of the contributions and merits I had. I felt very good because there I understood the degree of prudence of those people and the insistence not to create a precedent that could then resonate as a reason for others",  declared Linda Rama.
