"Rama has declared war on justice", Berisha before the Democrats: He warned that he will not disregard the decision of the Constitutional Court!
The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, addressed supporters at the protest with strong accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama and the government.
During his speech to the protesters, Berisha denied claims that his speech had been interrupted in Strasbourg, stressing that there he had denounced Prime Minister Rama as the leader of the “first and only narco-state in Europe.” He described the opposition as the “true opposition,” and the protest as the voice of civic conscience, dignity, and national consciousness.
Berisha stated that, despite the constant attacks from the media that he described as being close to the government, the opposition has managed to prevent what he called “the most dangerous coup in the history of Albania.” According to him, this constitutes a battle won, but not the end of the political war.
The leader of the Democratic Party accused Prime Minister Rama of declaring war on justice, referring to statements about the non-implementation of the Constitutional Court's decision on the right of courts to suspend government officials from office. He stressed that the opposition must take this battle to the end, describing Rama as the greatest danger to Albania and its citizens.
In conclusion, Berisha stated that every indicator of the last 13 years, according to him, testifies to the collapse of the country, for which he directly blamed Prime Minister Edi Rama.
