"Rama is raising waves of hatred against judges"/ Dash Shehi: Justice

The head of the LZHK, Dashamir Shehi, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, spoke about the justice reform and Prime Minister Rama's recent attacks on judges.

Shehi said that the justice reform has failed for the people, as there are many problems with judicial cases, the high number of files that have remained unexamined, etc. However, Shehi said that the only links that have had some success are SPAK and GJKO, which have managed to hold senior officials accountable, so they are the only ones attacking Rama and Berisha.

"Where did it fail for me? Here a reform was made that was supposed to offer equal justice to Albanians, because the system was corrupt. The justice that citizens need has not moved at all, but has gone backwards. There are 30,000 or so files in the Supreme Court.

Second, a reform was attempted to distribute the justice system over the territory, moving it from some cities to others. In some, there are buildings and no judges, and appeals are concentrated. This is the great problem of justice for the citizen. From this point of view, the reform has failed. Should it be recovered and how? We'll see. So far, this segment of justice has failed.

Who has done something? Those special courts. They have done something, they have arrested some people who had power and felt untouchable. What is happening with politics? They are not concerned at all about this work, the files, the service to the citizen, the problem is with SPAK, GJKKO, this is where the attack is. Rama is attacking this, Berisha is attacking this. The only segment that has broken a positive path, all parties have rushed to it. Are there any corrupt specialists among them? Yes. Are they all doing it properly? No. What would I do to help them? Reduce the scope of the investigation that these people are doing, they should only focus on the level of major state corruption and those ten main gangs. By disbanding them, they break under the pressure, the weight of the files. I would reduce the scope of what these people are investigating. I would expand the number of people that these people are dealing with. Make it 40-50, why don't you do it?

Politics is abhorrent, but why? Not because they don't return people's properties, but because they are abhorrent because they have come close to some kind of political power.

"Under international pressure, the files are being copied and now this kind of attack has begun. It culminates in this issue of salaries, which is the most populist element. Telling people that these people receive millions raises waves of hatred towards these people. Do they have the right to demand more? I also say that the demands should be more moderate, but this is not the subject that solves the issue and this is not the biggest problem that the government has," declared Shehi.
