Angelina Jolie talks about the divorce from Brad Pitt: If it weren't for the children, I wouldn't want to live!

Angelina Jolie gave a full interview, in which she did not hesitate to talk about the darkest aspects of her life.

The Hollywood star spoke to Vogue and opened up about her tumultuous divorce from Brad Pitt and what followed.

"I was 26 years old when I became a mother. My whole life changed. Having children was what saved me and taught me to be in this world in a different way," she said initially.

As she later explained, if it weren't for her children, a lot could have changed for her, especially after her divorce from boyfriend of 12 years, Brad Pitt.

"I think I would have withdrawn recently, in a very dark way, if it weren't for my children and not wanting to live for them. It's better than me, because I "want" it to be, he admitted.
The couple announced their separation in 2016. They have six children together, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox. Even years after their separation, the actress says that she and her family still haven't found themselves.

"I'm still figuring out who I am, at 48 years old. I think as a person I am in transition. I haven't felt like myself in a decade," she explained.
