The lawyer of the late Greek artist, Vasilis Karas, who passed away in December of last year, read the will of the famous singer yesterday.
The will was opened about six months after the death of the great artist.
The Greek media informs that it is about a property worth 10 million euros, which the artist had decided to inherit to his daughter and his wife, according to the will.
50% of the singer's wealth will be inherited by his wife and the remaining 50% by his daughter.
As for the authorship of his songs for the next 50 years they will belong to his wife Christina.

Popular Greek secular singer Vasilis Karras, known for his distinctive voice, has died after a long battle with cancer. He was 70 years old.
He was treated at the Inter-Balkan European Medical Center and was recently infected with Covid-19.
Karras (surname Kesoglidis) was born on 12 November 1953 in Kokkinohori, near Kavala, northern Greece and moved with his family to Thessaloniki when he was 10 years old.
In 1969, while working in a car service, he started a very successful appearance in the "Prosfygas" club in Thessaloniki.
In 1980 he recorded his first album, Alismonites Ores, which started Karras on the long road to fame and recognition.
His best selling album was "M'echis kani aliti" (1997). During his decades-long career he has worked with some of the biggest names in secular music and has performed in nightclubs in Athens and Thessaloniki.
