Actor Nick Pasqual, who has appeared in several popular film and television projects such as "Rebel Moon" and "How I Met Your Mother", has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing his ex-girlfriend several times.
It is suspected that on May 23, Pasqual stabbed his ex-partner, who had previously requested a protection order, at her home in the Sunland neighborhood of Los Angeles. According to CNN, the victim is a 35-year-old make-up artist, for whom a GoFundMe has been opened to help her with medical expenses.
“Our office, including our Office of Victim Services, offers her our support and resources to the girl as she begins the long and difficult journey of recovery from the physical and emotional trauma that has been inflicted on her. This horrific incident is a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic violence. We will ensure that the individual responsible for this outrageous act is held accountable for his actions," District Attorney George Gascón said in a statement.
The 34-year-old is accused of attempted murder, wounding and robbery. He will be extradited to Los Angeles County, where he faces up to the maximum sentence if convicted.
