Megan Fox launches poetry book: Body aches from the weight of men's sins

Get ready for Megan Fox as a poet.
The "Jennifer's Body" actress' poetry collection, titled "Pretty Boys are Poisonous," is expected to be released in November. Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, is the publishing house that has taken over the curation of Fox's poetry book.
According to the official synopsis, Fox "shows fans her 'sleazy' side through a collection of heartbreaking and dark poems." Over the course of more than 80 poems, Fox chronicles all the ways we conform to the mold of those we love, even if it means losing ourselves in the process."
In a statement, Fox said: “These poems were written in an attempt to remove the disease that had taken root in me because of my silence. I've spent my whole life guarding people's secrets, my body aches from carrying the weight of their sins.
My freedom lives on in these pages and I hope my words can inspire others to find their own happiness and identity by using their voice to shine a light on what is buried, but not forgotten, in the dark.”
In the past, Fox has been in at least two very public relationships. She was married to Beverly Hills, 90210 star Brian Austin Green from 2010 to 2021, and the pair have three sons.
More recently, Fox has been in a relationship with singer Machine Gun Kelly, which they made public in 2020.
The poetry book will be simultaneously published as an audiobook by Simon & Schuster Audio, read by Fox.
