Cormac Roth, the musician son of the famous actor Tim Roth, has died at the age of 25 after a battle with cancer, the family announced this Monday.

"Roth died peacefully on October 18 with his family by his side," his family said in a statement, adding that he maintained his wit and humor to the end.

"Sadness comes in waves, just like tears and laughter, when we think about that beautiful boy we got to know during these 25 years. An irrepressible, joyful and wonderful child. We love it. We will carry it with us wherever we go", said the family members.

A graduate of Bennington College, Roth was a guitarist, songwriter and producer. He revealed on his Instagram profile that he was diagnosed with cancer in November 2021.
