Pique reveals the truth behind the sensational photo with Ibrahimovic

Former Barcelona and Spanish national team defender Gerard Piqué, even after retiring from football, continues to be a media personality who makes waves, whether in the world of sports, business or private life.
With a glorious career that includes four Champions Leagues, a World Cup and a European Championship, Piqué has become a successful entrepreneur through the company Kosmos and creator of the Kings League, an alternative football championship followed by millions of fans on the Twitch, YouTube and TikTok platforms.
Recently, the 36-year-old Catalan has made noise again through a strange statement, returning to the famous photo from 2010, where he appeared in a close moment with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, his former Barcelona teammate.
In a live broadcast on the show "After Kings" with the participation of Ibai Llanos, Piqué clarified the context of that photo that had sparked speculation in the pink media, especially due to his newly started relationship with Colombian singer Shakira.
"In that photo we are in the club's parking lot. My car was there, and all the press was around. If I wanted to kiss Ibrahimovic, I wouldn't do it in the parking lot in front of everyone! The photo is totally out of context," Piqué explained, laughing.
He also recalled Ibrahimovic's harsh reaction to the rumors: "The next day, Zlatan was leaving Ciudad Deportiva and reporters from the pink shows, including Telecinco, were waiting for him outside. A journalist approaches him and asks him about the situation. Zlatan rolls down the window and says: 'Come to my house with your sister and I'll show you I'm not gay.'"
