The Champions League quarter-final draw will take place today at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland at 12:00 and the eight Champions League quarter-finalists will learn the names of their opponents in the next round.
Bayern Munich, Benfica, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Manchester City Milan, Napoli and Real Madrid will learn the names of the rivals they will face in this round. The draw is open, so there will be no division into different pots to avoid duels between clubs from the same country or those who have played in the same group this season.
The eight balls with the names of the quarter-finalist teams will be placed in a large vase. The first team to be caught will play the first match at home. The procedure will be repeated until the four quarter-finalist pairs are determined.
Along with the draw for the quarterfinals, the draw for the two semi-finalist pairs will also be determined today. The first matches of the quarter-final duels will be played on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 11 and 12, while the return matches will be held on April 18 and 19.
The semi-finals will be played on May 9-10 and 16-17, while this season's final will take place on Saturday, June 10 in Istanbul. It should be remembered that from the 2021-'22 season, the away goal rule no longer applies.
So in case the two matches will end in a draw, then it will go to extra time and in case there will be no winner there, then it will be determined by penalties.
