OPTA's supercomputer predicts the Premier League winner

A preliminary idea of how this season will go has been given by the supercomputer of the statistics giants OPTA, who have simulated thousands of times this season's matches in the English football elite.
And Manchester City's dominance of the Premier League looks set to continue as in 82.2% of scenarios out of 10,000 league simulations, Pep Guardiola's side see themselves lifting the trophy.
These simulations show that Guardiola's team has no chance of dropping below the fourth place, and even the latter has only a 0.4% chance, as it is almost certain that the "citizens" will be on the podium.
According to the supercomputer, Arsenal have the best chance of finishing the season in second place, with 48.8%. Liverpool has more chances to go to the third place, with 40.2% possibility, even though it has not made any purchase yet in this market.
Meanwhile, the supercomputer predicts that Chelsea will take fourth place in the standings and secure the Champions League, while Manchester United are predicted to again be left out of the places leading to the elite tournament.
