UEFA shows generosity/ This is how much each Euro2024 referee is paid, the figure increases as the stages pass

In the UEFA European Championship, referees and their teams are compensated at different rates depending on the stage of the tournament.
The head referee receives the highest salary, earning €5,000 per game during the knockout stages, in contrast to the €1,750 they receive in the English Premier League.
Assistant referees and the fourth referee are paid €2,500, but this rises to €5,000 during the knockout rounds.
As such, VAR referees are paid €3,000 per game, making their role the second highest paid position after referees.
Do all members of the official team receive different payments in Euros?
Yes, each role in the official Euro team has a different rate of pay. The referee earns the most, followed by the VAR referee and then others who are paid equally.
In total, the referees will cost UEFA about 800,000 euros.
