It is reported that Russia has ordered the arrest of the spokesperson of the company that owns the social network Facebook, Meta, accusing him of promoting terrorism.
The arrest warrant for Any Stone was made public on November 26 by the Russian news website Mediazona, which Russia's Ministry of Justice said it had issued in February 2023.
Stone, who could not be reached for comment, became Russia's target because of a change in Meta policies in March 2022, about a month after Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Meta's two main platforms, Facebook and Instagram, were banned in Russia shortly after the invasion of Ukraine began in February last year.
