Quadruple accident on the Maqellarë-Peshkopi road, two injured

A few minutes ago, an accident occurred on the Maqellarë-Peshkopi national road, in a place called "Grevë".

An ambulance has been dispatched to the scene. The exact number of injured is not yet known, but it is reported that two people have arrived at the Peshkopia hospital.

It is suspected that the cause of the accident is the wetness on the road. Police have arrived at the scene and are working to clarify the causes of the accident.

At around 08:40, on the Maqellarë-Peshkopi road axis, it is suspected that as a result of the wetness on the road, four vehicles with drivers UL, FP, IR and HH collided.

As a result of the collision, one of the drivers, citizen HH, was injured, as well as a passenger, citizen IL. Both are receiving medical attention in hospital and are out of danger.

The investigation team is at the scene and is conducting investigative actions to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
