Pedestrian seriously injured in tractor accident, Saranda police arrest 77-year-old man

Saranda Police have arrested citizen Ramadan Sulo, who, while driving a tractor for which he did not have a driving license, seriously injured a 52-year-old woman.
"Specialists of the Urban and Interurban Traffic Section in Saranda arrested citizen Ramadan Sulo, 77 years old, resident of the village of Gjashtë, after on 11.04.2025, on the road to the village of Metoq, while driving an agricultural vehicle (Zetor) without a driving license, he hit the pedestrian PZ, 52 years old, resident of the village of Gjashtë, who was seriously injured as a result of the accident," the police announced.
After the accident, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene, but was identified and arrested by the Police. The injured citizen is currently at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, under the care of doctors.
The procedural materials for both cases were passed on to the respective Prosecutor's Offices for further action.
