24-year-old Albanian arrested in Switzerland for transporting large loads of cocaine

Swiss authorities have arrested a 24-year-old Albanian man. His arrest came after he was accused of trafficking hard drugs in Lugano.

According to foreign media, the Albanian's role was important as he transported large shipments of cocaine.

The 24-year-old was arrested inside the apartment he was in. During the search, approximately 120 grams of cocaine and several thousand francs in cash were found. The crimes against him are serious violations of the Federal Narcotics Act, as well as violations of the Federal Aliens Act, local media reported.

The investigation is being coordinated by public prosecutor Margherita Lanzillo, as investigations are deepening to dismantle the criminal organization he was part of.
