The situation in Delvina has become critical as flames have come dangerously close to the city hospital.
The fire has surrounded the city from the north and east, forcing police to evacuate residents from the two upper neighborhoods.
Its dimensions are considered extraordinary, while aerial intervention is not possible at night. It is suspected that several homes may have been engulfed in flames, but at the moment it is difficult to assess the damage due to thick smoke and limited access to the ground.
