The father of Lorenzo Pjetrushi, the 18-year-old Albanian who died in Italy, says that his son was not making videos for TikTok at the time of the tragic accident.
Agron Pjetrushi, speaking to the Italian media, said that he himself took Lorenzo to his cousin's birthday, but he does not know what happened afterwards.
" Lorenzo was very good, he was very good, like many young people of his age. He loved to play and live life. That Saturday evening I had taken him to a birthday party in Cimadolmo, with friends, which was held around 10 pm. I don't know what happened after that. Maybe then he went out with another third cousin, yes from Ormelle, an Italian of Albanian origin.
He said that his family did not sleep for 8 days in the hope that Lorenzo would win the battle and return to life. He says that the young people were not making videos when the accident happened, since the police did not find any videos when they confiscated their mobile phones.
"We haven't slept for eight days," he added. Maybe it all happened as a joke, a game that ended badly. There were five of them in the car, a Ford. My son's third cousin runs it. He had only received his driver's license for two months, he did not have much experience. But they weren't making videos or photos to post on TikTok, as has been said. Only the police know how it happened, after listening to the boys and confiscating all the mobile phones, but they did not find any photos or videos. My son has never made a TikTok video.”
