The former mayor of Korça, Dhionis Robert Kotmilo, has passed away at the age of 82.
Kotmilo served as mayor of the city of Korça from 1996 to 2000 , leaving behind an important legacy in the leadership of the municipality during the 1997 unrest.
This was a special chapter of his sacrifices and civic commitment.
Although he was invited by the Democratic Party structures to run for a second term, he decided to withdraw.
The news of Kotmilo's passing has saddened many citizens of Korça and those who knew him for his contribution.
