SERIOUS / Conflict with knives in a bar, 14-year-old loses his life in Korça

A serious incident occurred in the village of Pirg, Korça, resulting in the death of a 14-year-old boy.

The incident took place in a bar, where according to police, two 14-year-olds clashed with a knife. The boy with the initials E. Xh., 14, died in hospital, while the other was injured and is in hospital.

"Around 17:30, in the village of Pirg, in the premises of a bar, a conflict occurred, allegedly with a cutting tool (knife) between two 14-year-olds.

As a result of the injuries sustained, citizen E. Xh., 14 years old, died in hospital.

The other 14-year-old suspected perpetrator of the incident has been taken to the hospital for treatment and is under police supervision.

"The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident," the police announced.
