Journalist Osman Stafa has reacted after the serious incident that occurred in the capital, during the protest. According to him, a man and a woman blocked his path and physically attacked him. He said that they accused him of not doing his job well and insulted him with curses and insults.
After the incident, the journalist sought to file a personal report with the police, stressing that he did not know the perpetrators and that the attack was unprovoked. He claims that the individuals, who are suspected to be a married couple and over 50 years old, gave false testimony, accusing him of telling them why they had not participated in the protest.
" A man and a woman stopped me and hit me. They told me that I was not doing my job well. They were both concerned about the reports I had made about the protest. After this contact, I asked to file a personal report. I don't know them and they started shouting at me, insulting me and hitting me. There was no kidnapping, no escorting me, I asked to file a report myself.
The people were over 50 years old. They were escorted and are at Police Station No. 3. I think they were a couple. They claim the opposite, they think I told them why you didn't come to the protest.
"A witness is still giving his testimony. I think it is intentional, because they are giving false testimony. They were among many people walking. I think it is an attack on my duty," said Osman Stafa.
