Osman Stafa's escort to the police station, police officially react

Tirana Police have officially reacted regarding the escorting of journalist Osman Stafa to the police station, following a conflict that occurred on Sunday evening near "Skënderbej" Square, where several people were involved.

On 21.06.2026, at around 22:00, near "Skënderbej" Square, the Police were notified of a conflict between several citizens.

The services of Police Station No. 3 immediately intervened at the scene, preventing the escalation of the conflict and escorting the people involved to the police station.

Specifically, citizen OS, a journalist, who reported that he was cursed at, insulted and scratched by citizens ZN and MP, suffering minor injuries.

On the other hand, citizens ZN and MP stated that the conflict began after a verbal argument with citizen OS, after the latter demanded an account regarding their absence from the rally held in the city.

Procedural and investigative actions are being carried out in connection with this case, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office.
