An immigrant from Germany, who returned to his homeland, in Vjosa, Fier, has reported violence against him on Saturday evening around 11:00 PM.

Altin Meçaj, 46, in a statement to the media said that the person who hit him was a fellow villager, Fredi Lamaj, a Fier police officer.

The reason for the violence, the immigrant explained, is a comment that Altin Meçaj made on the social network Facebook to the sister of the rapist, Fredi Lamaj.

Altin Meçaj has been admitted to the emergency room in Fier along with his father, who has lacerations on his head from violent blows.

Altini explains that before he was raped on the doorstep, he received a threatening message from Fredi Lamaj, with the text "I don't know who you're messing with," while he was in the village bar.

After he arrived home, the lights were turned off and at that moment he heard someone calling him from outside. When he came out, he was brutally beaten until he fell unconscious.

According to him, his father jumped in to save him, but he was also hit.

" Last night at 11 o'clock at night I was at a bar and I arrived home. When I was at the bar I received a threatening message from a Facebook liker. He is a fellow villager of mine who is now a group commander of something like that with the RENEA forces. I liked his sister on Facebook.

When I went home, the lights were turned off only in my house and I was called by name to come out. He called me from the gate of the house.

The message said 'I don't know who you're messing with'. As soon as I walk out the door they shoot me directly and repeat the message. There were at least 3 people.

I only recognized him by his voice. They knocked me to the ground unconscious. Even if it was for a Facebook like or a comment, there is an apology, but to get to this stage where they would have to take me to the hospital or my father.

How is it possible that such a person who is a group commander comes with his friends. We could have sat down and explained it. We could have had a coffee and explained it. We know each other, we have had good relations. There is no one else. Fredi Astrit Lamaj has the name.

He told me the same things as in the message 'I don't know who you're involved with' and something else that I can't say. I ask that this not be repeated and I want my rights. My property has been violated. I only recognized this person by his voice when I went outside. I told him that your sister is big, not small, he can tell me 'Altin, stop bothering me'. The comment was 'you've become very beautiful', a compliment", declared 46-year-old Altin Meçaj.

His father, 76-year-old Ylli Meçaj, said his son had come for a vacation and that this incident had shocked everyone. With tears in his eyes, he demands justice and safety for his family after this serious incident.

" I have never had any trouble in the village. The boy has been an immigrant since 1997. The boy used to go to a bar near the school every evening with his brother. He came around 11:00 pm. At that time the lights went out. At that time I hear voices.

When I got up, I saw the boy lying completely motionless and they were kicking him in the leg and climbing on his body. But I didn't see how many people there were. I fell on top of the boy and screamed. At that moment, they shot me and I was covered in blood.

"I wanted to move the boy, but I couldn't. The woman was screaming. The older boy came screaming. If I hadn't come out, the boy wouldn't be alive today. I didn't recognize anyone. I have head injuries. We are seeking justice because my entire family is being wiped out. Everyone in the house is shocked ," said Ylli Meçaj.

So far, there has been no official reaction from the police, while it is reported that the case has been passed on to the Police Supervision Agency (AMP) for investigation, because the person reported is part of the police structures.
