The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has reacted to the sudden interruption of Focus Media Group's broadcast in Albania, describing the situation as worrying.

In a post on the X platform, the Office of the Representative on Freedom of the Media at the OSCE emphasizes that property and commercial disputes should not lead to immediate interruption of media broadcasting.

" The situation related to the sudden cessation of Focus Media Group's operations in Albania is concerning. Property and business disputes should not lead to the immediate cessation of media broadcasting," the OSCE response states.

The OSCE's reaction comes after tensions in recent days, where the country's largest news television station has stopped broadcasting after a sudden intervention.
