Arrested by operation "Spirti", the 31-year-old dies in "Jordan Misja" prison

The 31-year-old was sentenced to 5.4 years of imprisonment for drug trafficking and was serving his sentence in "Jordan Misja" prison.
the prisoner Artan Zyliftari, arrested on charges of drug trafficking as part of the "Spirit" operation, died today from cardiac arrest.
As the Directorate of Prisons informs, the 31-year-old has shown health problems and was sent to the facilities of the QSUT, but despite the intervention of doctors, he did not make it.
"The patient, during his stay at the Jordan Misja Institution for the Execution of Criminal Decisions, was checked regularly and all medical visits and therapies were administered in the health card no. 3350 of this patient. The patient was treated for hypertension according to the approved protocols and his health condition was stable", announced the Directorate of Prisons.
Artan Zylyftari was one of the 15 people convicted by the Special Court for drug trafficking as part of a criminal group, as he was sentenced to 5.4 years in prison for drug trafficking and serving his sentence in "Jordan Misja" prison.

The General Directorate of Prisons announces that on 28.10.2023, at around 16.20 in the Central Reanimation of QSUT, citizen Artan Luan Zyliftari, born on 17.04.1992, born and resident in Skrapar, died of cardiac arrest.
Against the citizen Artan Luan Zyliftari, the security measure of arrest and imprisonment was taken by decision No. 45, dated 30.06.2021 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, suspected of the criminal offenses provided for in the article; 284/1, 333/a and 334 of the Criminal Code, (cultivation of narcotic plants in cooperation) located in sector 1, building B of IEVP Jordan Misja", from 07.05.2021.
On 28.10.2023, around 3.12 p.m., the security officer on duty was notified by the detainees of the room about the health concerns of citizen Zyliftari. The health staff on duty immediately appeared and tried to give him first aid in the nursing facilities.
At 3:28 p.m., the patient was escorted to QSUT, Cardiology Pavilion. Despite the intervention of the specialized staff at QSUT, at 4:20 p.m., the patient died from cardiac arrest.
The patient, during his stay at the Jordan Misja Institution for the Execution of Criminal Decisions, was checked regularly and all medical visits and therapies were administered in the patient's health card no. 3350. The patient was treated for hypertension according to approved protocols and his health condition was stable.
The Directorate of IEVP Jordan Misja has carried out all the legal procedures envisaged, notifying the structures of the State Police, the Prosecutor's Office and the family members.
On this occasion, the General Directorate of Prisons expresses its condolences to the families of the deceased.
