Sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder of his cousin/Details from the crime in Vau e Dejës, Frrok Lleshaj was found on the street by passersby, blood feud suspected

Frrok Lleshaj is the 65-year-old man who was found dead this evening on a road in the village of Paçram, Vau i Dejës.

The blue uniforms indicate that the 65-year-old was suspected of being shot. The victim was found dead in the street around 9:00 p.m.

Sources indicate that Frrok Lleshaj was found on the street by passersby. The murder occurred with a pistol near the victim's apartment.

It is suspected that the 65-year-old was shot for blood feud.

It is learned that the victim, Frrok Lleshaj, was previously convicted of murder.

By decision no. 37, dated 17.03.2006, the Shkodra Court sentenced Frrok Lleshaj to 25 years in prison for the intentional murder of his cousin, Dodë Lleshaj. Frrok Lleshaj was released on 16.03.2023.

Despite the sentence, the victim did not admit responsibility for the incident for which he was convicted.

It is learned that in the early 1990s, Frrok Lleshaj also served as a police officer.

The initial suspicions from the police are of a blood feud, but the investigative group is investigating every possible lead.

The police announce that a special investigative group has been set up, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working intensively to clarify the circumstances, legal documentation, as well as to identify and apprehend the perpetrator(s).

Vau i Dejës / Preliminary information

At around 9:00 PM, in the village of Paçram, Vau i Dejës, citizen F. Ll., 65 years old, was found dead on the street, suspected of being killed with a firearm.

Police services are at the scene.

Meanwhile, a special investigative group has been established, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working intensively to clarify the circumstances, legal documentation, as well as to identify and apprehend the perpetrator(s).
