Police have arrested a 19-year-old man for arson in two vehicles in the "Iliria" neighborhood of Shkodra.
Klavdo Macaj was arrested, while a 16-year-old was criminally prosecuted, suspected of being an accomplice in the burning of vehicles.
The incident occurred on the morning of December 9, while the two vehicles were owned by citizens with the initials ZK and AD.

As part of the operation, Klavdo Macaj, a resident of Shkodra, was arrested, suspected of being the perpetrator of the burning of two vehicles.
During the search of the 19-year-old's apartment, the clothing used during the fire, a machine gun, combat ammunition and a quantity of the narcotic cannabis were found and seized as material evidence.

A 19-year-old was identified and arrested as the suspected perpetrator, and criminal proceedings were initiated against a 16-year-old suspected of being an accomplice in the burning of vehicles.
Found in the 19-year-old's apartment and seized as material evidence, are a light machine gun, combat ammunition, a quantity of the narcotic cannabis and the clothing used during the fire.
As a result of the in-depth actions to uncover the deliberate burning of two vehicles owned by citizens ZK and AD, which occurred on the morning of 09.12.2025, in the "Iliria" neighborhood, the Crime Investigation specialists of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, based on the evidence collected as a result of intensive investigative actions, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Traces".
As part of the operation, citizen KM, 19 years old, resident of Shkodra, suspected of being the perpetrator of the burning of two vehicles, was arrested and put in handcuffs. Also, criminal proceedings were initiated against a 16-year-old, suspected of being an accomplice in the burning of the vehicles.
Following the operation, the Police services, during the search of the apartment of citizen KM, found and seized, as material evidence, the clothing used during the fire, a machine gun, combat ammunition and a quantity of the narcotic substance cannabis.
Work continues on the complete legal documentation of this event.
The procedural materials were passed on to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
